Promoting Mental Wellness Through Kindness, Nature and Community

Loading...

Mental health and suicidal behavior is a crisis in our communities, especially among teens and young adults.

Today, nearly three out of every seven young people face mental health challenges.  The short and long term negative outcomes associated with youth mental health issues emphasize the importance of awareness and prompt access to professional treatment.

Nick’s Way sponsors programs and events to raise awareness and donations to support mental wellness in our community.

Kindness

The rewards of performing Acts of Kindness are many to both those who give and those who receive them.  Together we can better our own mental well-being and the well-being of those around us at the same time.

Nature

There are many studies that conclude spending time in Nature is proven to reduce stress, improve cognitive skill, enhance mood, and support positive mental health and emotional well-being.

Community

Our focus on Community is that it takes us all to make a difference. A community is built by lending a hand to make a place better for yourself and others because you care. Nick’s Way will work with you, local leaders, and organizations focused on making a difference in our mental wellness.
